EMMAUS is a wonderful opportunity to experience faith, formation, festival and fun. It is the perfect opportunity to take time out to renew your own faith as well as being an 'inviting event' for friends and family members who may need to re-engage with Christ and his Church.

Fr Dominique Faure will lead the talks for the weekend, focussing on the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit. 

Fr. Dominique was chosen by Mother Teresa to be the spiritual formator of her contemplative sisters. He is currently the chaplain for the Catholic Discipleship College in Auckland.

Robert Loretz will speak on "the Holy Spirit and the Prayer of the Church" looking at the way the Holy Spirit makes Christ's prayer our own prayer in the gift of the Liturgy.

Church historian Ann Thorp from Good Shepherd Theological College will give a talk on "Martyrdom in ancient and modern times" focussing on recent developments with Isis in the Middle East.
